About Your PT

Lauren Bos, PT, DPT

Lauren Bos, PT, DPT is a residency-trained orthopedic physical therapist and former professional ballet dancer, bringing a combination of clinical expertise and firsthand performance experience to her practice.

While her special interest lies in performing arts medicine, Lauren's clinical background spans Olympic athletes and Big Ten sports medicine facilities, where she delivered physical therapy services and on-site coverage for professional, collegiate, and recreational athletes alike. Through her research and clinical work, she aims to bring the same structure and precision of elite return-to-sport rehabilitation to the performing arts world, where that standard has long been overdue.

Lauren believes the most sustainable programs don’t have to be built in a clinic with expensive equipment. They're built in your studio, at the barre, in your performance spaces, and around your evolving repertoire. Seeing how you move in the environments that matter most is what allows her to design programming that is truly specific to you.

During her residency training at Columbia University, Lauren founded Kilter, a concierge PT practice based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn built to bridge the gap between what traditional rehabilitation offers and what performers actually need to get back to doing what they love. Kilter was created on the belief that this model of care is for everyone, and that meeting people in their real lives is simply the best way to help them recover, perform, and thrive.
